Soil-friendly cultivation reduces soil loss and increases biodiversity
Soil-friendly cultivation is beneficial for both growers and the environment, confirmed by 18 years of soil protection research by Syngenta and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, which was launched in Szentgyörgyvár in Zala in 2003. The experiment demonstrated that soil-friendly cultivation enhances the soil’s water absorption capacity, increases soil health and biodiversity, reduces loss and soil degradation on slopes.
