By creating GMO-free feed, the Hungarian food industry can become more competitive, even can reach market leadership and can have market protection role.
The long-term goal of the Ministry is to eliminate GMO soya imports by combining different solutions and to replace the import dependence with home-grown fodder crops. The basic condition for this is to maintain the competitiveness of the livestock sector – Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture said at a professional event in Homorád. (vg.hu)
