The cooperation of a Hungarian and an Italian family will reshape the European mineral water market
Central Europe's largest mineral water bottler, the Czech Karlovarské Mineralni Vody Group (KMV) and the Szentkirályi Ásványvíz Kft. will cooperate in order to jointly continue the expansion in Hungary and in the region.
According to the agreement concluded in April 2015, the Szentkirályi Ásványvíz Kft. will merge into the Central European Mineral Water Holding (CEMW), which is the joint venture of the KMV owner, the Italian Pasquale family, and the owner of Szentkirályi; Balogh Levente. As the result of the transaction, Balogh Levente has become the dominant minority owner of the Holding and fills the chairman position of the joint venture as well.
