Extreme rainfall in Europe could be a consequence of climate change
Scientists say the heavy rains behind the devastating floods in Europe in July may have been caused by human-induced climate change.

Climate change is causing more and more heavy rains.
Floods in Germany, Belgium and surrounding regions have killed at least 220 people as cities and villages have been flooded. According to researchers, due to global warming, such rains have become up to nine times more likely in Western Europe, BBC News reported. (MTI)
