The power of strawberry

Prices of agricultural products were up by 31.5 per cent in May 2008, compared to May 2007. The average price of plant products was up by 38.3 per cent, while that of animal products rose by 21.7 per cent. The 28.8 per cent increase in the price of strawberry accounted for a substantial part of the 38.3 per cent overall rise in the price of fruits.
