The Hotel Association sees no signs of evolution
The operators of the Hungarian commercial accommodation suffered a significant decline because of the economic crisis, and they do not see any signs of evolution” – said Kovács István, Secretary General of the Hungarian Hotel Association.
According to estimations, probably a slight recovery may begin in second half of 2010. According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH); between January and September the number of foreign and domestic guests and the number of guest nights decreased by 11 and 6 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. The revenues of the commercial accommodation declined by 9 percent on current prices – reports Origo.
