Professional advocacy predicts a 20 percent increase in egg prices
Due to the half-year rise in feed prices, an about 20 percent increase in the producer price of eggs is justified, the Hungarian Egg Association told MTI on Wednesday.
According to the organization, the current price of the egg covers about the cost. The rise in feed prices affects all livestock keepers, and its effects cannot be offset in the long term. At the same time, it was stressed that egg producers have only to do with the transfer price, store prices are set by traders. (MTI)
