The Starbucks conquers China
Starbucks will have fifteen hundred coffee shops in China until 2015 – was announced at the handing over ceremony of a local café in Kunming, Yunnan province, southwestern China on Thursday.
Kunming is the 39th Chinese city where the Starbucks opened its 450th café. The company began its Chineses expansion in 1999 in Beijing. Since then, China became the largest market of the café chain outside the United States – reports MTI.
