Magzine: Hungexpo supports Hungarian gastronomy
Hungexpo asked the organiser of a successful spring event, Péter Regős, the chef of XO bistro to participate in organising the collective representation of restaurants at the autumn Budapest International Fair (BNV). The young chef was happy to say yes and the cooperation was a great success: already at the fist event 17 restaurants, bakeries and confectioneries introduced themselves. They only had to pay for the base materials and Hungexpo provided stands, equipment and publicity. Mr Regős estimated that the cost of representation for a restaurant was around HUF 50,000-60,000. He added that he was really proud of the fact that both sides of the divided profession were present, visiting the tasting sessions.
