SPAR Hungary Ltd. is in strategic cooperation for many years with the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service. The two organizations are committed to social unity and help the needy effectively with a number of joint actions.

The SPAR handed over the support that comes from, after every sold plastic bags, meaning 1 HUF per 1 bag. More than 13 million HUF was gathered from this source. On the 27th of  January, Feiner Péter managing director of the SPAR, symbolically handed over the money to Father Kozma Imre, president of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service. The amount will be spent on the operation of the the Malta Ambulance Service.
