SPAR chose Pricer to the electronic shelf labels
Abroad some chains are no longer open new businesses without digital shelf labels. The Spar South Africa decided to standardize Pricer's electronic shelf label system two years ago.
During the past 18 months 50 Spar stores introduced digital shelf labels in South Africa.
Due to the two-way communication, the electronic shelf labels acknowledge the price change which is strictly necessary for the preservation of price integrity. Each electronic shelf labels can be monitored in the system, so error can be filtered.
The digital tags of Pricer conquers Central and Eastern Europe: the electronic shelf labels are under testing by a pharmacy in Slovakia and the German Metro in Romania. In Hungary Praktiker, CBA, and a multi-chain is testing the e-label.
