The Russian food embargo will be extended to salt as well
From 1 November, the Russian government will extend the food embargo on salt against those countries which imposed sanctions against Russia, due to interference in Ukraine.
The decree on the embargo was published on Tuesday in the Russian government's information portal.
The extension of import stop for foodstuffs is applied against the European Union, the United States, Canada, Norway, Australia, Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Ukraine. (MTI)
