Sony Introduces Xperia Phones at IFA in Berlin
At a packed press conference at its booth at IFA in Berlin, Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai introduced several new products including three phones to be sold under the Xperia brand.
The flagship of the line is the Xperia T with 4.6 inch display and 1080p resolution. It sports a 13 mega-pixel camera which, according to Hirai, can start up immediately. Sony is also touting the “1 touch” ability to stream content via Near Field Communication (NFC) from the phone to Sony TVs and other Sony devices.
