Smurfit Kappa buys Mexican company Cartonbox
Smurfit Kappa Group has acquired Cartonbox, a folding carton company situated in Monterrey, Mexico. The acquisition sees the group strengthen its participation in the paper packaging solutions business in Mexico: the company now has four folding carton locations in the country.
