Schlecker will take over 71, from the stores of the Woolworth chain
German Schlecker network, which has businesses in Hungary will take over one-fourth, 71 from the stores of the bankrupted Woolworth chain of stores.
The Woolworth Deutschland, which bankrupted in April, had 310 businesses. Mostly drugstore chains, retail stores, textiles and shoe trades are interested for the businesses of Woolworth. The Schlecker is already active in 13 European countries, Germany,Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Denmark. In Europe more than 52 thousand employees are working in 14 thousand stores – reports MTI Eco.
