Samsung’s latest devices are designed for extreme work environments, with advanced AI features and enterprise security solutions
Samsung is taking mobile productivity to the next level with the introduction of the Galaxy XCover7 Pro smartphone and Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro tablet in April 2025, two devices designed specifically for intensive, field use and industrial environments. Combining military-grade durability, 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and AI-driven enterprise features, the devices are ideal companions for frontline professionals in retail, logistics, government, and healthcare.
Prepared for all conditions
With IP68 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H military-grade protection, the new models can operate reliably in extreme temperatures, wet or dusty environments. The Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus®+ display withstands even the toughest scratches and impacts, and the touch sensitivity allows you to use them even with gloves on.
Continuous Workflow – Power Delivery Without Interruption
The Galaxy XCover7 Pro comes with a 4350 mAh battery, while the Tab Active5 Pro comes with a 10100 mAh battery, the latter supporting Dual Hot-Swap, allowing the battery to be replaced without turning off the device. Charging via POGO connector and battery-free mode make the devices ideal for use in vehicles or fixed workstations.
Works in the field and in the office
Powered by the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 3 mobile platform, the devices deliver fast and reliable performance. 5G, Wi-Fi 6E and dual SIM support ensure that users can stay connected wherever they are. The Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro also offers NFC front tagging, making it ideal for use as a mobile point of sale (mPOS) in hospitality or retail.
AI for everyday efficiency
The new models offer a range of AI-powered features to help users with their work, such as “Search by Circle”, “Object Remover” and “Red Aloud”, which reduce manual intervention while increasing accuracy and efficiency. With Samsung DeX support, the devices can even function as workstations.
Security that delivers the best
Enterprise-grade security is provided by Samsung Knox and Knox Vault, which protect devices with advanced encryption and real-time protection. And with programmable buttons, users can set shortcuts to frequently used applications, such as emergency alerts, barcode scanning or PTT functions.
