The clothes make the man
At many companies, especially at multinational ones, the code of ethics regulates how employees should dress. Generally speaking we can say that a workplace is not the place where one should follow extreme fashion trends or should show off with expensive clothes: a neat and classically simple look should prevail. For instance at a job interview we can send a message about our good taste and positive characteristics by wearing simple clothes made from good fabrics, with modest accessories. A smart casual dress code has become dominant at several workplaces and many clothing brands focus on manufacturing such clothes. However, we can achieve the same result by wearing the same style of unbranded clothes because it is also very important how we wear them. We can buy a few expensive items which will become the pillar of our style, around which we can build our image that strengthens our confidence and communicates that we are capable of solving the tasks we are assigned.
