German Industry had a great quarter, despite bad June data
In June, instead of the expected growth, the industrial production declined slightly in Germany. However, in the whole second quarter, industry has increased in a record extent.
According to the datas of the Ministry of Economic Affairs the June datas decreased by 0.6 percent, compared to the performance of a month earlier. Analysts expected a 0.7 percent growth.
However, the ministry revised the May growth data up from 2.6 percent to 2.9 percent clarified the growth data, and said that in the second quarter, in the April-June period industrial production increased by 5.4 percent of – reports MTI.
