The Red Bull Air Race returns in 2014
Red Bull Air Race World Championship racing series will return in 2014 with seven races in three continents. The return of the world's fastest motor sport competition was announced at a press conference on 8 October in the Putrajaya Maritime Centre in Malaysia.
The three year break that was enough to enhance the security and re-organize everything. Now the series are back with 12 pilots, including Besenyei Péter and defending champion Paul Bonhomme. The series will introduce a number of technical innovations, such as standard engines and propellers, while the pylons will break more easily, if the wing of the planes would hit. Rules were tightened as well for the safety of the pilots.
