Real earnings fell by 2.1 percent in one year

In January-October of 2009, 747 thousand people worked in the public sector. In the competitive sector around 1 million 829 thousand people worked. This means a 3.9 percent loss in the number of employees, compared to the same period of the previous year.
On national economy level, the average net earnings were 122 000 HUF.
