Real entered the premium category
Reál Hungária’s network of stores mainly consists of convenience units located in residential areas. The company operates two chains: Reál Élelmiszer stores have a floor space above 100m² and ReálPONT shops are smaller than 100m²; 8 regional centres coordinate all Reál store operations. Reál cooperates with 370 suppliers and sells more than 500 private label products. Early last year the retail chain opened a premium category supermarket in Csepel. The retailer’s Class Cash Box CSR programme helps less well-off primary schools organise exciting class excursions. Classes have to collect Reál private label product packagings to become eligible for funding from the HUF 25-million class excursion budget.
