The Forestry Climate Adaptation Forum was established in the summer of 2025 as a sectoral and inter-sectoral coordination platform and intellectual workshop from delegates from 22 organizations. More than 100 experts from its working groups are working on the climate adaptation strategy of Hungarian forestry.

The initiative is managed by the Deputy State Secretariat for Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM), with professional contributions from the Institute of Forestry Science of the University of Sopron and the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) – the announcement reads.
