The Advocacy Producer Associations expect a significant increase in the price of basic food. The chains can hold back price increase with cheap imports. The crisis tax also tends towards price increases, especially if the economy does not accelerate.

Acccording to the recent datas of the Central Statistical Office; the price increases of food pulled the inflation this year. While in October, the price level rose by 0.4 percentage points, compared to September, food prices increased by 1.5 percent.
