Pfizer sells its baby food business to Nestlé
The American pharmaceutical company, the Pfizer would sell its baby food business. According to Monday's news, Nestlé outbid its French rival Danone. Nesté can buy the business branch of Pfizer for 11.85 billion USD.
According to the informations of Reuters, the business is expected to be carried out even in April. “The acquisition of Pfizer Nutrition eseems to be an excellent strategic move that will confirm our commitment to become the world's leading nutrition, health and wellness company” – said Paul Bulcke Nestlé’s CEO.
