Champagne is catching on again
The crisis that shook up the world’s financial markets in 2009 did not spare the champagne industry. In 2010, however, the industry began to bounce back.
Dr. Stephen Charters, Reims Management School’s chair of Champagne Management has claimed that the bubbly drink is in fact to buck the current downward trend for alcohol this Christmas. Dr Charters predicts a that veritable turn-around for champers is to occur in 2011-2012.
