PepsiCo to buy 80% of Sandora for $542mn
PepsiCo announced that they have agreed to acquire an 80% stake in Sandora LLC, a Ukrainian juice producer, for $542 million plus assumed debt.
The soft drinks giant and its bottling company said that they have formed a
joint venture to buy the stake, and PepsiAmericas will hold 60% in the joint
venture. PepsiCo said that the acquisition will have no impact on its full year
EPS guidance. The companies said that the joint venture will acquire the
remaining 20% in Sandora by November.
