PENNY stores will accept SZÉP cards as a means of payment from August
PENNY gives its customers more again: in accordance with the government decree, the store chain enables payment with the Széchenyi Pihenő Card in all 229 units in Hungary. Thanks to this, between August 1 and December 31, 2023, the SZÉP card can once again be used as a means of payment in the stores of the retail chain.
“I am happy to announce that PENNY will once again join the range of SZÉP card acceptance locations. The technical preparation of our entire network already took place last spring, with the first such payment option. Therefore, from August 1, 2023, all PENNY stores will once again be ready for the Széchenyi Pihenő Card to be used for payment”
– said Eszter Kazatsay, head of communications at PENNY in Hungary.
