Penny expands in Romania
The German Rewe's Penny Market expands. The network reached 100 stores in Romania after the opening of 28 stores this year. Penny Market plans to open further 25 units next year.
The opening of the 25 shops means a 32 million euros investment, 1.3 million per units.
The new facilities will bring 500 new jobs in the country for 2010. The company will have 100 operating businesses in Romania until the end of 2009 and plans a further 25 percent expansion – reports portfolio.hu, after Ziarul Financiar.
