Pattex introduces its strong and removable construction adhesive

Pattex Fix & Remove is the first removable construction adhesive on the market that can hold up to 6 kilograms¹ and can be used on a wide range of surfaces², such as tiles, glass or metal. Once dry, the adhesive can be easily removed without damaging the surface². Pattex Fix & Remove provides high initial adhesion for fast and flexible home decoration and, thanks to its water resistance, can be used even in humid rooms such as bathrooms or kitchens. Its unique properties allow consumers to decorate in a variety of ways without any tools, drilling, nailing or damaging the wall².

The vast majority of consumers worldwide carry out DIY projects, and approximately two-thirds of them regularly fix light objects in their homes. Although Pattex has a long tradition of supporting these projects and is constantly developing its product range, many people still encounter obstacles when decorating. This is especially true for those living in rented properties, where surface damage (e.g. drilling marks) can lead to costly repairs.

To enhance the consumer experience and effectively support decoration projects, Pattex Fix & Remove technology balances adhesive strength and removability. It offers a similar strong initial adhesion to traditional construction and assembly adhesives, but is transparent and flexible enough to be removed from the surface in one piece after drying, without leaving a trace. The product is quick, easy and clean to apply: the user only needs to open the tube and apply the adhesive to the object to be fixed in a dot pattern. The object is then pressed onto the surface to be fixed with a twisting motion and held there for a short time. Pattex Fix & Remove has a high immediate adhesion and the glued object can be loaded after up to 24 hours.
