The pálinka beat the cold at the Pálinka and Sausage Festival in the Buda Castle
The pálinka “growing” plum tree, the pálinka essence, the beer ditillate and the pálinka flavored handmade sweets were the most popular at the 7th Buda Castle Pálinka and Sausage Festival, which was visited by nearly twenty thousand people during the four days of the event.
The festival goers were looking for new, extreme and unique flavors. Nobilis’ award-winning beer ditillate was completely sold out. The most popular sausages were the Békési plum jammed sausages and the Csodaszarvas sausages marinated in cognac mordent without peppers.
During the four days of the festival, a total of twenty thousand people visited the event and more than ever forein tourists enjoyed the festival and tasted the distillates. (MTI)
