The package delivery company Packeta sees an expanding market opportunity in Hungary
The international logistics service company Packeta sees an opportunity for expansion in the Hungarian market; with the further development of fixed-point parcel delivery – parcel points and parcel machines – they want to provide a logistics solution with a suitable price-value ratio for e-commerce – Packeta Hungary Kft. told MTI.
Based on a representative survey by market researcher GKID, Packeta has a 14.82 percent market share in fixed-point delivery in Hungary, placing it in 4th place, the company informed.
Last year, Packeta handled approximately 4.5 million packages, and its sales exceeded HUF 5.3 billion, an increase of 88.6 percent in one year.
They are planning further investments in Hungary, and in 2023 they want to further expand their network, increasing the number of collection points and parcel machines to over 3,000 from the current over 2,000.
