Packeta machines will be integrated into the Foxpost network
From autumn, the Packeta Z-BOX machines will be gradually integrated into the Foxpost network, writes mfor.
From Monday, two types of devices will be available: the usual touchscreen machines will continue to operate under the name Foxpost A-BOX, and the button-operated machines known from the Packeta system will appear alongside them under the name Foxpost Z-BOX.
In the first round, 18 new machines will be installed, followed by a few weeks of test operation. Following the evaluation, 139 Foxpost Z-BOXes will be deployed to new locations this year. The integration of the entire Packeta network will continue in 2026.
Today, Packeta is the largest player in the Hungarian parcel logistics market: it owns 52 percent of the machines (3,116 units) and 42 percent of the parcel points (2,000 units). The Czech-based company acquired the Hungarian-owned Foxpost in June 2023, thus acquiring more than 1,500 machines.
