Rabbit consumption has been promoted at the Farmer Expo
There is no healthier meat than rabbit meat – the Minister of Agriculture stated at the Farmer Expo, at the Debrecen stage of the nationwide campaign to promote rabbit meat.
Nagy István recalled that last year, the rabbit meat campaign was launched in a crisis situation to substitute the waterfowls, diosappeared from the store shelves because of the bird flu.
He pointed out that rabbit meat does not contain any allergenic substances and is therefore a popular ingredient in baby foods. (MTI)
