In the summer, the domestic hotel industry can revive
With the gradual lifting of restrictions, the hotel industry in Hungary is expected to revive in the summer months, with demand for rural accommodation returning for the first time, according to the latest industry analysis by the auditing and consulting company BDO Hungary; the level of revenue per rentable room in 2019 is expected to be reached by the industry only in the 2023 season.
The analysis sent to MTI on Monday highlights that an important condition for the expected resurgence of the hotel industry by the beginning of the summer is that both virus treatment and vaccination programs and the relaunch of the aviation and hotel industry be coordinated at European level.
