This summer almost a third of all overnight stays in Hungary were registered in commercial accommodation in the Lake Balaton region.

The number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodation at Lake Balaton grew by almost 3% in the summer of 2024 compared to the previous year, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Overnight stays by both domestic and foreign guests increased in the region vs. the third quarter of 2023. //
