Vegetables drive production prices in agriculture
In January 2016 agricultural production prices increased by 4.8 percent from the level of January 2015. This rise was driven by the price of vegetable products increasing 10.5 percent. Livestock/products of animal origin prices fell 4.7 percent from the base period level. Cereal crops cost 4.9 percent more, potato’s price soared 54 percent and fruits became 23 percent more expensive.
