The Growth Loan Program is the engine of agriculture
The Hungarian National Bank’s (NBH) Growth Loan Programme (NHP) is behind the growth of Hungarian agriculture – according to the analysis of the Atradius credit insurance company.
The market leader credit insurance company, examined the agricultural sector in terms of financing among other things. According to the study, only agricultural loans have been able to grow since 2009, the financing of other sectors of the economy stagnated or deteriorated. The share of agriculture in the second phase of NHP increased from the inital 14 to 28 percent.
