NÖM-AG acquires Mona dairy
NÖM-AG has announced that it has acquired three subsidiaries of the Mona dairy group based in Oberwart in Burgenland retroactively effective to January 1 of this year. The Hungarian company countinues its work with Montice, Joya and PL brands.
Mona will henceforth concentrate
exclusively on production of soya products.
NÖM-AG, owned by Raiffeisen
Holding Lower Austria-Vienna and based in Baden in Lower Austria, is
the country's second-largest milk producer with annual turnover of
336 million Euros.
Mona has a strong position in the
Austrian, German and Hungarian markets with annual turnover of 65
million Euros. Mona will remain based in Oberwart.
NÖM is expanding abroad, this year, a total of around EUR
70 million will be invested for building dairy plants in the Ukraine
and England.
