McDonald's focuses on women and vegetarians
McDonald's German subsidiary will increasingly focus on women and vegetarians in the future, in order to increase turnover. The cause of the strategy change is that food sales decreased last year, by 2.6 percent to 2.9 billion euros.
This year, the chain will open 25-30 restaurants in Germany, mainly at airports, at railway stations, near highways and shopping centers. Last year, 28 new McDonald's restaurant opened in Germany, where the subsidiary operated a total of 1361 restaurants at the end of the year and the number of employees was 60 thousand – reports Világgazdaság Online, after N24.
