Women are more likely to try new products
Special offers do not only attract female customers: in fact more than seventy-five percent of netsurfers above 18 prefer buying special offer products – VMR research by NRC Market Research and TNS shows.
Even though 65 percent of the population is glad to try new products, 58 percent of them – men in the first place – insist on using their preferred brands. 79 percent of those involved in the survey claimed that they are ready to buy a more expensive product if its high quality is guaranteed. Sixty-five percent of netsurfers are interested in trying new products. It is women in the first place who like to try newbies (60 percent of men, 70 percent of women think they would gladly try something new they have seen on the internet. The reason behind these numbers is probably the fact that women are the ones making most shopping-related decisions and most decisions in connection with domestic chores.
