Women and older people are more conscious customers
GfK’s Shopping Monitor research was also prepared in 2014. The research monitored the buying habits and the chang od the buying habits over time. According to the datas of the latest study, the trends of 2009 are still dominating in the household consumption decisions, the proportion of conscious consumers is similar to 2009.
The shopping list is one of the measuring degree of conscious purchasing. Customers with list typically collect information from multiple sources before buying and they usually buy only those things that are on the list. According to the latest datas, the ratio of shopping list users is 44 percent, and larger proportion of them are women, the elderly and people of smaller settlements.
