Third of our time spent online is associated with portable devices
Those who use internet on a weekly basis, usually spend 3 hours and nine minutes online. Thirty percent of this time is linked to portable devices. Using these devices is getting more and more personalized, associated with various users – GFK's Hungária Digital Connected Consumer survey, carried out in January 2011 reveals.
Banners are the most accepted form of advertising, and users prefer static banners. THe survey worked with users between the age of 18 to 49 who use internet at least on a weekly basis, and found that only a mere 1 percent of these users get online via mobile devices. Thirty percent of all users, however, use portable devices like laptops, pads, palmtops and nettboks exclusively.
