Nestlé spends more and more at domestic suppliers
Every year, nearly 2,000 domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) deliver goods or provide services to the Nestlé Hungária Kft.. Nearly 85 percent of the company's external suppliers are Hungarians.
The Hungarian subsidiary of Nestle, purchases goods from Hungarian companies (by location) in a value of more than 200 billion HUF annually. Nearly 2,000 domestic SMEs deliver goods or provide services to the company.
Not only the domestic, but the food company's global network is also a major customer of the Hungarian SMEs. In 2011, the international group bought goods in a value of nearly 554 million HUF higher than the average of the past five years. The average of the past five years was 51.2 billion HUF.
