Population growth and urbanization increase the demand for milk

According to the survey of Tetra Pak on milk consumption involving 100 countries; while in Western Europe and in North America, the level of milk consumption is stagnating at a high level, in India and China it is growing rapidly, World’s annual milk consumption was 184 billion liters in 2000, now it is 203 billion liters in 2010. It is a nearly a 10 percent increase in ten years – reports Világgazdaság Online.
