Inflation in Germany could reach 7.3 percent in March
The March Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 7.3 percent on an annualized basis, according to Destatis’ first calculation based on a narrower range of data, significantly exceeding both market expectations of 6.3 percent and 5.1 percent in the previous month.
Rising gas and crude oil prices and other commodity prices due to the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict contributed the most to the rise in inflation in March. (MTI)
