The Germans will give shopping vouchers as Christmas present this year
In Europe's largest economy, shopping vouchers are on the first place on this year’s Christmas gift top list. Last year the Germans preferred to give books as a Christmas present.
According to the study of Deloitte and Touche, published on Tuesday in Düsseldorf; this year, Germans will spend an average of 290 euros for gifts, 1.3 percent more compared to last year. Ernst and Young’s former survey showed a lower amount, although they have also confirmed the upward trend. According to them; the Germans, will spend an average of 232 euros for Christmas gifts this year, it is 7 euros more, than in 2009 – reports ProfitLine.hu.
