The liquidation of the German Praktiker does not affect the operations of the Hungarian Praktiker
The Praktiker Építési és Barkácspiacok Magyarország Kft. issued the following statement today:
Germany's Praktiker AG, will soon initiate the opening of the winding-up application at the competent court. This step will not affect the Hungarian Praktiker Építési és Barkácspiacok Magyarország Kft.
The Max Bahr Baumarkt GmbH & Co. KG, Max Bahr Baumarkt Warenhandels GmbH and stores belong to the Max Bahr chain, as well as the Baumarkt Praktiker International GmbH are not involved in the case. The latter company is 100 percent owner of the Praktiker Építési- és Barkácspiacok Magyarország Kft.
The Praktiker Magyarország Kft. is in a position to ensure the operations of the Hungarian company, to preserve jobs and to fulfill the contractual obligations.
