The German minister urges the food chains to open petrol stations
Rainer Brüderle, the German Minister of Economic Affairs encourages the discount food chains, such as Aldi and Lidl to open petrol stations. The Minister expects greater competition and lower prices, from the new participants.
Rainer Brüderle told to Bild Zeitung that in his view the competition has main role in kleeping the prices low. The price falls when the supply increases. Therefore, the Minister of Economic Affairs welcomes any new participants in this market – reports portfolio.hu.
