German export breaks new peaks
The German economy may export more than ever this year. The value of export may be 3.5 percent higher than in 2012 – the projection of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) states.
The German export increased to its historical peak in 2012 to 1,100 billion euros, and the share of German goods and services in world trade increased to 8.6 percent. Exports can set a new record this year, especially due to the increase in demand outside Europe; The BDI expects that prosperity will increase in the United States despite the debates in connection to the national budget, while the economic growth in China will gain a greater impetus, and thus German company orders will expand further.
