The Nébih created a prospectus about foods prepared with nanotechnology
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) created a prospectus about foods prepared with nanotechnology. Although the Hungarian stores do not sell these kind of foods, the dietary supplements advertised as nano-products are already available on the Internet.
The Nébih in its communication sent to MTI on Monday emphasizes that the European Parliament recently rejected the proposal submitted to define the nanomaterials, because the marking requirement would not be applied to the already consumed additives that can be considered as nanomaterials. (MTI)
